We haven't seen a tiger yet, but we're still looking.
We've spent much of the last 2 days in rural India. Breathtakingly beautiful. The roadside offers so many amazing sights ... women in colourful saris with heavy loads on their heads... oxen-driven water wheels, young children drawing water from wells, camels pulling wagons, dogs galore and cows. Everywhere cows. Everytime we pull over for Cathy to take a photo Indian children come racing to the car with the same enthusiasm that Canadian children greet the Ice-cream truck. Their hands reach out as they beg for money, and sometimes shampoo.
Inside the temple at Ranakpur the Jain priest sang and chanted for each of us individually. The day before, at the fort in Jodhpur, Cathy and I had our palms read by a man who'd read the palms of many kings. The results were incredibly accurate, of course. He measured our hands with calipurs and used a calculator to get those accurate results. Our lovely driver shook his head when I told him about it, and, rolling his eyes said, "It's business, Shelley."
Yours, live from India,
Shelley (with Leslie and Cathy)

Dear Shelley, Kerri, Cathy and Leslie: Once again, your adventures have given me a happy start to my day. I know I am not the only one who dashes to the internet early each morning to catch up on the "where are they and what are they doing" activities. Am I seeing any pictures you have taken yet? Keep safe, happy and remain wise. Love2-4
