Yes, we made it to the Taj Mahal. It's quite a love story really but as our dear Dharmender says, it's a small story. Look it up and you will understand why. Today we spend the day here. We were up a dawn in order to take in the sunrise at the Taj and it didn't disappoint. Not too many people, but as we left the crowds were building. A bit foggy for the best photos but still so breathtaking. No wonder why it is a destination so many wish to visit. Imposing serenity.
Tonight is the Marudhar Express #4854 bound for Varanasi. It is a 12 hour journey and we are prepared! Meditation package from dear Jennifer (thank you!), bedding, books, music and beverages. We should arrive at Varanasi Junction by 10:30 am Jan. 14th. It is an adventure we having been waiting for with tremendous anticipation!!!Report to come.

I know this was going to be a huge adventure! The train trip to Varanasi! LT....please tell me soon that you got on the train...and weren't stuck on the platform as you watched S,K and C climb on board thinking you were right behind them! I hope you are all well...safe and sound and having a fabby eve together!
Now that's what I call 'Bling' !!!! Adds so much class for those long haul drivers !!!!! Love it !!! Wonder if they have to dust ???
